Periodically, Montalvo releases calls for proposals for arts projects to be installed both on and off of its historic grounds. Artists at all career levels and from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

New Artist-in-Residency Program at Valley Medical Center Posted Monday, January 8, 2018 Applications due March 1, 2018 The Sally and Don Lucas Artists Program (LAP) at Montalvo Arts Center, in partnership with SV Creates, is seeking proposals for a new project-based Artist-in-Residency program at Santa Clara's Valley Medical Centers (VMC) Women & Children's Hospital Wing: a newly renovated facility dedicated to pediatric, newborn and women's health. 5 Hour Sculpture: Experiments in Public Space
